Warén (1989, Sarsia 74, p. 258) wrote: "It has not been possible to find a precise date of publication for Friele's work, but the first and second issue of volume 24 were received at the Library of the Swedish Academy of Sciences, September 1878 and part three was received April 1879 although it is dated 1878 on the title page. Part four is dated 1879 on the title page. I therefore assume that part 3 was published very late 1878 or very early 1879. I have then considered it better to keep the publication date as '31 Dec. 1878', in order not to disturb established synonymies.
