Six genera, 229 species, five subspecies, and four varieties of polychaetous annelids were named by J. Percy Moore (1869-1965). Most of the primary type-specimens deposited in the United States National Museum, Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, and California Academy of Sciences were re-examined. Original citation, type-locality and measurements and references to subsequent changes are provided.
