Three species of the genus Eupasiphae, E. gilesii (Wood Mason 1892), E. latirostris (Wood Mason, 1891), E. paucidentata sp. nov. were collected off the coast of Madagascar. The new species is described and compared with the most similar one, E. serrata (Rathbun, 1902). The reexamination of the holotype of Parapasiphae grimaldi Coutière, 1911, shows that this species belongs to the genus Eupasiphae and is synonymous with E. serrata. An identification key of Eupasiphae species and a new version of the key of genera for the family Pasiphaeidae published by Holthuis (1955), taking recent publications into consideration are offered.
