Diagnosis Shell 3 to 4 mm high, protoconch with 2.5 convex whorls, teleoconch with 4-4.5 whorls, moderately solid. Sculpture of protoconch of spiral rows of fine granules, indistinct in optical microscopy; sculpture of teleoconch with spiral cords as narrow as the interspaces, and orthocline axial ribs thicker than the cords. Tee suture is characteristically excavated, situated in a channel delimited by two stronger cords just above and below. Aperture with a distinct outer rim over which the cords are continued; this rim slightly bulging near its adapical end; inner part of outer lip with slight denticles.
