Taxonomy Sharma et al. (2013) placed Lametila abyssorum Allen & Sanders in family Phaseolidae, in the table of material examined. The placement is not further discussed but the species clusters consistently with Yoldiella americana in their phylogenetic reconstruction. Huber (2015: 359-360) rejected this placement, retained Lametilidae as accepted family and suggeted that Yoldiella americana is probably misplaced in Yoldiella. [details]
