Job description Job description - The candidate will work in the IN-PLACE project team and will participate in field surveys and lab studies to quantify process rates and to identify environmental controls on benthic and pelagic primary productivity. He/she will develop algorithms to predict primary production rates from network sensor data.

[Function] requirements - This position requires a dedicated team player with proven experimental and mathematical skills. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a PhD degree Bio- or Geosciences with a clear interest in coastal processes, notably benthic and pelagic primary production, and in (bio-) mathematics.

We offer a full-time Postdoc position for 3 years, a pension scheme, a health insurance allowance, a yearly 8% vacation allowance, year-end bonus and flexible employment conditions. Conditions are based on the Collective Employment Agreement of the NWO Research Institutes.
