The post-doc is responsible for the collection and interpretation of remote sensing data from air-borne and satellite-borne sensors. Remote sensing algorithms should be developed to estimate primary production of both primary producer groups, and where possible detection algorithms should be developed to detect and estimate different functional primary producer groups (e.g. diatoms, cyanobacteria etc) using the RS data and data measured with the different sensors arrays of the coastal monitoring stations.
