Erasmus Mundus Master grant: European Master of Science in Nematology

Grants are available for students to follow the Erasmus Mundus programme European Master of Science in Nematology – EUMAINE. This is a collaborative programme between eight EU institutions and is run from Ghent University , Belgium.
This masters programme has been built on the longstanding and successful model of the PINC course run at Ghent. There is an excellent follow-up with many students progressing to PhDs.
Lectures are given by an international group of experts and the course students come from all over the world

Some important details in a nutshell:
The total Erasmus Mundus scholarship/grant amounts to 18000 EUR. An extra budget of 3000 EUR is foreseen, when the student visits one of the EUMAINE partners outside the EU. More specifically the scholarship funds consist of:
§ a monthly allowance of € 500 for costs of living for a maximum of 24 months
§ an amount of € 1500 per semester for participation costs (including insurance coverage).
§ a fixed amount of € 3000 for contribution to travel and other costs if the student visits a partner outside the EU.
The tuition fee for the EUMAINE programme is € 3000 per academic year.
The tuition fee is used for payment of the enrollment fees at the different partner institutes, costs involved in the organization of the summer course and the required insurances (medical, civil liability, travel and repatriation). Travel costs related to mobility within Europe are paid by the student her/himself.
