Job description The Institute of Marine Research (IMR) invites applicants for a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship in statistical modelling of marine population distribution. The postdoctor will investigate the effects of future climatic conditions and other environmental or human stressors on the spatial distribution of Barents Sea plankton, benthos and fish populations.
The candidate should hold a PhD in ecology or statistics. We are especially interested in a person with documented experience population ecology, spatial ecology, spatial modelling, and statistical model selection. Experience with spatial ecology and spatial statistics is essential.
