Hereby we are happy to inform you that also for this year there is a possibility to collaborate in the Erasmus Mundus Master programme on Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (EMBC) through thesis work. In the last 3 years many students of our master programme carried out thesis work in one of the former members of the MarBEF network.
Until 1 February 2012 it is possible to indicate whether you are willing to receive students for thesis work between January and June 2013 (next academic year).
In case you have interest in this we invite you to upload possible research lines on which students can work on https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en&pli=1&formkey=dHZvcDdzUENOdDk1WWY2cnh0WWJ1Q0E6MQ#gid=0
Students will receive the full list of research lines by mid February. By the end of May students should make a decision on what topic they will work on in their last year.
In case of a student coming to your institution for thesis research more guidelines will be sent.
General guidelines for thesis work can be found on http://embc.marbef.org/userfiles/EMBC/files/GUIDELINES_for_EMBC_Master_Thesis_2012.pdf
More information on the master programme can be found on the website: http://embc.marbef.org.
In case of doubts or questions regarding thesis work please feel free to contact the EMBC coordination office. (email@example.com , firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com).
Thanks a lot for your cooperation,
