Breaker zone

Definition of Breaker zone:
The zone within which waves approaching the coastline commence breaking (typically in water depths of between 5 and 10 metres).[1].
This is the common definition for Breaker zone, other definitions can be discussed in the article


Notes

  • The breaker zone is a subset of the surf zone.
