Fifty-nine species of Foraminifera are recorded from the Upper Jurassic Corallian Beds exposed on the coast of Dorset, England. The most abundant and diverse family in the assemblage is the Lagenidae, but arenaceous Foraminifera are also numerous. At almost every horizon two species, Ammobaculites coprolithiformis (Schwager) and Lenticulina muensteri (Roemer), comprise more than half the specimens found. The assemblage described is typically Oxfordian in composition, and its affinities are with the preceding Jurassic faunas rather than with those of the Lower Cretaceous. Several forms have possible stratigraphic significance but further knowledge of them is needed. Four species are described as new: Massilina redcliffensis, Marginulina oxfordiana, Vaginulina barnardi, and Eoguttulina pisiformis. Attention is drawn to a septate Cornuspira-like form, and the variation of several species is described.
