Type material Type material of Lycaea pulex could not be found in any major European institution and is considered lost. The type locality is the Mediterranean Sea, Gulf of Marseille. Despite the apparent loss of the type material, this is a relatively well known species, readily characterised by the description and figures provided by Marion (1874). [details]
