Diagnosis Test narrow, elongate, uniserial, straight to arcuate, proloculus apiculate or with numerous small spines, chambers subglobular to pyriform with moderate overlap, sutures constricted; wall calcareous, perforate, thick, optically radial, surface smooth; aperture rounded, produced on a slight neck, with bordering phialine and crenulate lip and with a distinct tooth projecting into the aperture at one side.
