Abstract
In this project a comparison is made between the present status of the Schelde estuary and historical information and data from simular ecosystems. This combination with a landscape ecological study of the river valley and morfological en hydrodynamical studies must result in proposals towards a nature development plan for the area, based on the ideas of integrated water management.

The former Institute for Nature Conservation was a partner in this project
