Abstract
    Four new species of Desmoscolecids are described: Desmoscolex demerarae sp. nov., Quadricomoides trilabiata sp. nov., Q. labiosus sp. nov. and Spinodesmoscolex coronatus gen. n., sp. nov., the latter belonging to a new genus Spinodesmoscolex. Spinodesmoscolex is characterized by desmoscolecoid body rings with transverse rows of spine-like setae and by the head with triradial anterior end provided with three labial areas.
