Spelling Names ending in the Greek word -derma are of neuter gender, so Acheliderma is also of neuter gender (ICZN Art. 30.1.2) despite the fact that the suffix of the type species is feminine (ICZN Art. 32.5). It is an incorrect original spelling (ICZN Art. 32.4), that has to be corrected. [details]
